removing user/author from my blog

  If I remove a user/author from my blog will all of their posts be deleted as well?

  I have some authors on my blog that are no longer currently active so I would like to remove them from the user list, but I do not want to lose the posts that they previously contributed to the blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Removing a user from your site should not remove their content.

  However, before you proceed, please make sure to make a backup of your site’s content:

  Export
