removing web address from google search

  I’ve recently registered a domain with wix and deleted by old none premium wordpress address. However it still pops up in google search. So my question is, is this temporary or is there something else I have to do?

  If you deleted a domain and some content is already indexed by search engines such as Google, it will take some time for it to get removed off the index. There is no definitive time that can be promised as to when the content will be removed from Google. Sometimes, it can take up to a few weeks, months or even years depending on how popular your site was and how much content was indexed.
