Removing white bars on the right
-
I would like to get rid of the white space on the right side of my website. The theme is twenty fourteen. The website I need help with is https://prasadradhika.wordpress.com/

Hi there,
The Twenty Fourteen theme you’re using has a fixed width, and is aligned to the left, so on any screen that’s wider than the maximum width of the theme you’ll see empty space to the right. That’s how this theme was designed.
It’s not really possible to completely remove that space – that would require significant modifications to the theme to make it wider – but you can, for example, add a background color or image to that area using custom CSS code. That will require our Premium Plan, though.

Thanks a lot. I don’t want to get the premium plan.
What would happen if I try to change the theme? -
If you change to another theme, your site will just start looking like the theme you switch to. Your site’s content won’t be lost, just packaged in a different container :)

Thanks a lot.
Could you please suggest some themes which will not have that white sidebar on the right? How is Baskerville 2 theme? -
Something we recommend trying is viewing theme demo sites. This should give you a much better idea of how it will look before switching your actual theme’s site. Try these for example…
Bakserville 2 (which you asked about) – https://wordpress.com/theme/baskerville-2
See the “Open Live Demo” link? Ex: https://d.pr/i/dTzJBS
If you click on Open Live Demo you’ll see a full-size example of what the theme will look like in your browser with content.
Here’s another like it called Rebalance: https://wordpress.com/theme/rebalance
Canard is also cool: https://wordpress.com/theme/canard
