removing white space from template header
-
Hi There community,
In the template I am using, there is several lines of space between the top navigation bar and the site picture. I have looked in all settings but have not been able to get the whitespace out. I guess it is part of the template coding.
Does anyone have any suggestion how to override that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @opsasto,
You can reduce that space by customizing the CSS using the CSS Editor.
To access your CSS Editor Go to My Sites → Customize(Beside the Themes Option) and then click on the CSS tab.NOTE: CSS Customization is a part of the WordPress.COM Premium and Business Plan. If you are not on any one of these plans then please upgrade your WordPress account with one the these plans.
More information on the above mentioned plans here:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/More about Editing CSS here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/If you are already on a Premium or a Business plan then, on the CSS Editor add this code:
.navigation-wrapper { margin-bottom: 1em; // edit this value according to the amount of space you want to reduce. }Hope this helps :)

@rgw2011 – sure.
If you are talking about size measurement units, then there are many.Check out this article which shows all the units that you can use with CSS:

Hi That did help.
Got rid of some white space but not all yet.
Guess I’ll start looking for other margin parameters.Did suspect the solution would be in the editor but I was absolutely clueless about the synthax and parameter to look for.
Thanx a lot.
