removing widgets
-
I am trying to remove my stat counter but when I go to my widgets page to remove it, it isn’t showing although it appears on my blog and it appears to be active. How do I remove this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.opey124.wordpress.com
And it is the sitemeter I am referring too. It doesn’t show under my widgets when I go to remove it, only on the blog itself.
-
The sitemeter code would be in a text widget. You will need to remove that text widget that contains the sitemeter code.

Right above your “archives widget” in the left sidebar pane at appearance > widgets there will be a widget with the title “text.” Remove that widget.
-
It isn’t showing it. The only thing above the archives widget showing on my sidebar is “Links”. Tis strange.
-
OK, you had put it in your links widget. Go to links > edit links and find the sitemeter link and delete it.
