removing widgets

  i was wondering how do i remove the widgets from my blog i only want the archives blogroll and pages but i want categories and meta out and the search bar too
  and is there a way to take out “”Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: White as Milk.
  Entries and comments feeds. Valid XHTML and CSS.”” at the bottom??? help plz

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You drop and drag all the widgets that you want showing in your sidebar through the “widgets” tab under the “Appearance” in your blog admin. In terms of the things at the bottom, the footer, you cannot remove those unless you have a working knowledge of CSS and the CSS upgrade.

  Do you have the CSS upgrade? Do you have any working knowledge of CSS?
