Removing wigets on hosting site

    I am new to wordpress and I am using wordpress on my hosted site. I added a text wiget and all my sidebar information dissapeared. When I go to the wigets menu, I can only add, I have no option for removal. I have checked many referances to this but cannot find and direction. Help

    Well I will try the forums agian but have not found anything yet!

    To remove widgets, on your Dashboard page look for “Widgets” under the “Appearance” tab. Look for “Current Widgets” on the right side and you should see the widgets you are currently using. To remove one, click the link that says “Edit”, then scroll to the bottom of the expanded widget and click the button that says “Remove”. When you’re done, click “Save Changes” below all the widgets.
