Removing wordpress.com from domain

  Hello!

  We have recently upgraded our plan to the Explorer package and would like to remove the wordpress.com from our domain. I found the step-by-step guide but wanted to double check that it wouldn’t impact redirects that are currently set up. We have redirects set up from our old website to the new one – will removing the wordpress.com impact the current redirects/will we need to adjust the current redirects or will they not be impacted at all?

  Hi there,

  Could you please share what redirects are currently set up? If you set up a custom domain name and make it the primary domain for your WordPress.com site, the sbadvisory.wordpress.com site address will redirect to the custom domain that you set up. Any redirects you have set up for sbadvisory.wordpress.com should continue working.
