    Hi,

You can purchase a custom domain either from an outside service, or from within your WordPress account. A custom domain is included with all paid plans as well.

From your user control panel, you can select “Domains” from the toolbar on the left, near the bottom of the list, and search to see what’s available, and for what prices, and also choose a new plan, if that’s the route you want to go.

If you’re not sure which decision is the best for you, I’m sure a team member would be happy to discuss it with you via the live chat, which is available all day, Monday-Friday.

    Good luck! Thanks!
    Leah

    Hi knockoutdentz

To get rid of WordPress.com thing in URL you need to add a custom domain to your site and adding custom domain is offered underpaid plans of WordPress.

For more information on plan upgrades and features refer to the link below:
    https://wordpress.com/pricing/

For more information on the domain registration please refer to the links below:

If you have already purchased a domain let us know we will help you in mapping the domain or transferring that to your account.

    Hope this helps.
