removing wordpress stats smiley

  hi

  ive started testing wordpress stats and they look pretty nice

  i accomplished removing the smiley by putting this code:

  img#wpstats{width:0px;height:0px;padding:0px;border:none;overflow:hidden}

  in the style.css but this only worked for firefox and not for safari

  does anybody know how to do this?

  If you remove the smile you will start getting 0 hits.

  Well, you can kill them once and for all. Go to:

  Options -> Writing. Uncheck the box where the text says: Convert emoticons like :-) and :-P to graphics on display

  He’s talking about Angela, which shows up on everyone’s WordPress.com blog. The issue is, if you hide it completely you may not get any stats, since the stats count how many times the image is viewed. It can be hidden, but only via editing the CSS.
