Removing WordPress toolbar from website.

I want to remove the ‘WordPress’ tool bar that comes up every time I go to certain website. It automatically logs me and stays on my toolbar. I don’t want this account anymore or any trace of it, but I says I can’t delete it. I don’t need a WordPress site or want it anymore. Please help!! Thank you.

Hi there. If you want to stop being automatically logged in, log out of your WordPress.com account and then clear your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
You cannot delete your wordpress.com username account. This is for security reasons so others cannot claim your username and impersonate you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/ But you can remove all personal information you added and effectively deactivate your account so no one will be able to access it. See timethief’s instructions in this thread on how to do that: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/delete-account-276?replies=2

It sounds like your browser is remembering your user session and keeping you logged in. Try logging out by hovering over your name in the tool bar and then clicking “Sign Out” and then clearing your browser cookies, here’s a how-to guide. That should stop you from being logged in again when you re-visit a WordPress site.
