Removing WordPress Version 5.0

  How can I revert back to the WordPress version before 5.0? This new version with blocks is completely impossible to navigate when I try to edit previously published posts.

  Unless I start a whole new post, it’s all glitch-y and won’t let me scroll. I don’t have access to editing HTML in the post either.

  You can see how to re-enable the classic editor on WordPress.com, as well as how the block editor works, here:

  Every block in the new editor can be edited directly in HTML. You need to switch the HTML mode using the options menu for the individual block. Or if you prefer to do everything in HTML there’s an HTML block for exactly that purpose.
