Removing @WordPressdotcom from blog posts shared on twitter by others

  I have a recurring problem which I can’t for the life of me figure out how to solve.

  When one of my posts is shared to Twitter, I hit the reply button to thank the sharer only for the @wordpressdotcom twitter handle to appear in the reply (which I then delete!). There is no pattern to it happening.

  I had convinced myself it was something to do with me editing the post from the app, rather than the website. But’s it not. I posted two blogs today, one I did edit slightly last night. The other I didn’t. @wordpressdotcom is appearing on the post I didn’t edit but not the one I did.

  I’ve cleared the cookies and cache on both my phone and laptop but it’s made no difference.

  If I go to the share menu, then sharing buttons, then options there is absolutely nothing in the ‘Twitter Username’ box.

  I’m at a loss. Where is it coming from?
