Removing yourself as an author?

  Hello!

  I am new both to the blogging world and the world of computers, so forgive me if this question is a stupid one.

  One of my friends added me as an author to one of his blogs: http://crscroller.wordpress.com/ and I would like to remove myself as an author. My friend, however, no longer uses the blog and I am not an administrator so I do not, as far as I’m aware, have access to the User menu. So, my question is: is there another way to remove myself as an author, or should I just move on and hope that he comes back to the blog someday?

  You won’t be able to remove yourself; you can ask staff to remove you when they get back to work tomorrow, though.
