Renaming my blog site

I created this blog site years ago and have yet to use it. I am looking to re-name and develop my blog site with more consistency. Can you advise me on how to do this or if closing the account and re-opening a new account is the best way?

What I recommend doing is taking a look at your account information saved here: https://wordpress.com/me
Is the information you see there, such as the username/display name, relevant to the new site you wish to create?
If it is, we recommend starting a new site using the same account.
If the info on your account isn’t something you want to be attached to the new site, let us know and we can try to provide a bit more guidance for what to do next.

Thank you. I’m looking to change the name entirely from the secretplace7 to something such as The Fervent Life, which is one idea that I have. I see this name is specifically taken but hasn’t much activity- much like my current site.
Essentially how could I go back into my account and play with the re-naming until I find a good fit?

You could also add a custom domain if the options there are more to your liking: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-domain/
