renaming myy site with a recently deleted site name still in your system

  Good Morning,
  I think I made my problems worse. I opened a new site titled
  http://hurricanegonzalostmartin.wordpress.com/
  then I went to the old misspelled site name and tried to find out how to copy and paste my posts from the old site onto the new site. In my search I found that I could just rename the old site. I deleted the new site name and tried to rename my old site to the correctly spelled site. It won’t let me because the correctly spelled site name is still in your system. I’ve made a mess. Please help. I need hurricanegonzalostmarin renamed to hurricanegonzalostmartin ASAP. Thank you

  Hi there,

  After looking into your account, I found that both hurricanegonzalostmarin.wordpress.com and hurricanegonzalostmartin.wordpress.com were active and none of them were deleted.

  What you can do is go into the Dashboard of hurricanegonzalostmarin.wordpress.com and Export the site by going to Tools > Export. The direct to this Dashboard is here:

  https://hurricanegonzalostmarin.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Then go into the Dashboard of hurricanegonzalostmartin.wordpress.com and Import the site by going to Tools > Import. The direct link to that Dashboard can be found here:

  https://hurricanegonzalostmartin.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
