renaming user name

I originally logged on to WordPress with one domain name in mind, but I changed my mind. I can’t find any options to reset my username for the WordPress website, or delete the domains I’ve created and start from scratch. I have not paid yet, and don’t plan on doing so until I can reset my original log on information. How can I do this?

Search for Change Your Username there.You cannot register a username has previously been registered. Username accounts are not deleted so be clear on that. https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/
