Render-blocking
-
Hello, I was wondering how you would go about getting rid of render-blocking resources on a website. I have the Hummingbird plugin. One of the instructions say to “switch to inline CSS to inline files that are critical to the first paint of the page”. How do you decipher what files are critical and what files are non-critical?
Thank you

Hi @shapedpattern,
The best assistance you can get is from the Hummingbird plugin developers here:

Hope this helps.

In general, if you need help with a site using the open source WP software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform.
WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
