You will need to be logged into the account that originally made the purchase you wish to renew. Once logged in correctly, you will renew from your Manage Purchases page. https://wordpress.com/purchases

I can log in as me but I cannot pay with my information. The original card used to purchase was by someone no longer affiliated with us. My card is on the same account but the error message tells me that the original purchaser must pay.

Hi there,
Businesses, organizations and groups of any kind do not own blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
Only one Admin per blog is recommended.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administratorSubscribed purchases are automatically renewed every year using the credit or debit card information provided upon purchase, so long as the card is still valid and active.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and renew the upgrade(s) and to update credit card details https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/.
And, as you are not the site’s owner, you have to contact them so they can transfer the blog and upgrades to another username account.

The issue is that you are not logged into the WordPress.com user account that owns the upgrade you are trying to renew. You will need to log into that account in order to renew the upgrade.
