Renew an expired domain

  Hello,

  I purchased a WordPress account and domain just over one year ago. Since then I transferred to Wix and thought I had transferred my domain too. As such, I did not think the emails warning about the domain name expiring were relevant to me.

  The domain has now expired, however the website is in daily use and my email address relies on it too.

  Please can you advise how I can renew my domain name (www.thatoxfordgirl.com) as soon as possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This domain is now in redemption. What that means is that I’ll need the help of our domain partner to recover it. To do that they charge an $80 fee. This fee is in addition to your renewal cost of $26.

  Before we proceed I have to confirm that you will agree to make that payment.

  Next, I will contact our domain partner regarding thatoxfordgirl.com. Typically the whole process takes 2-3 days.

  https://thatoxfordgirl.wordpress.com/ hasn’t been deleted. You need to log in to that account/site via the username thatoxfordgirl as staff-zinnia advised. The new account you are using is only two hours old and is attached to another WordPress.com site https://thatoxfordgirlcom.wordpress.com

  If you can confirm you agree to pay the additional charge (using the correct thatoxfordgirl account) then staff can start the process to hopefully recover your domain.

  If the email address on your Account Settings page is no longer in use, please add a new one using these steps:

  Change Your Email Address

  You must click the confirmation link to confirm the change and update the email on your account.

  Let me know when you’ve done so and I’ll resend the payment request.

  Please clear your browser’s cache,

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  and reload your domain.
