Renew Domain

  I’m trying to renew my domain which expires in 6 days. When I click the red ‘renew it now’ button, it takes me to the ‘puchases’ page with no information about renewal. How do I actually get to a payment screen?

  Hi there,

  The domain is owned by a different user account to the one you’re currently sign into. You’ll need to sign out and sign back in as that user or have that user renew the domain from their account.

  Thank you Rachel – can you tell me the name of the user account? To my knowledge, there are no additional accounts.

  I can’t tell you the username or email address on the account, sorry. Do you have any other email addresses you sometimes use? If yes, you can try the password reset form:

  https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Did someone else set the site up for you? If yes, they may have registered the domain. If you can contact them then another option is to transfer the domain to your account.
