  Hi there,

  If you are speaking of the domain, kuwwi.com, that domain is owned by another user on your site, kucrees. Because you bought a Personal Plan using your account, it won’t renew the domain in the other account.

  To use your plan to renew the domain we’ll need to move your plan to the other account so that kucrees owns both the plan and the domain. Let me know if you want to do that.

  Hello,

  Thanks for responding. Actually is there any way we could move everything over to our plan? There has been staffing change at KU CREES and they are not really maintaining the blog anymore. I am not even sure if we can get their log on info.

  Would another option be that we let the domain expire (I think it runs out on Nov 21) and then transfer it over and “claim” it as the free domain that is included with the Personal PLan we just bought?

  We can do that as well. If kucrees is not maintaining the site any more the best option would be if they transfer ownership of the entire site, including the domain, to your account. They need to do that themselves according to the instructions here:

  Or if you only want the domain transferred I’ll need kucrees to post here to request that, then I can transfer the domain between the accounts.

  This is an option but not a good one. Expired domains can take 90 days or longer to be released before someone else can buy them, and that’s only if it’s not sold at private auction during the expiration process.

  The best option is for kucrees to either transfer the domain or the entire site to your account.
