  Hi I need help buying back my domain name. The renewal emails were being sent to an email we no longer use. Need help ASAP.

  What is the domain name?

  When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.

  Hi there,

  Is this for the domain, vavestudios.com?

  That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

  The renewal emails were being sent to an email we no longer use

  If that’s the case, can you also please update the email address in your account settings to a current email? I’ll need to send you a link to pay for the domain’s recovery, and I can only send that link to the email address connected to your account.

  I’ve sent you the payment link via email. I’ll be notified once we receive your payment, and then I can email our registrar to restore the domain.

  It usually takes around two days for them to restore the domain, but it might take a little longer over the weekend.

  Thanks for letting me know. I’ve emailed our registrar to restore the domain. I’ll let you know as soon as they reply to me.
