Hello,
I’m two months late on renewing my domain. I went to purchases but I don’t see an option to renew. What do I do to get my blog back up and running?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When a domain expires it falls into a grace period for about 10 days to 2 weeks, during this period the domain can be renewed at the regular price.After this, the domain falls under the redemption period(length can vary). You can also renew your domain during this period, but you will charged an extra $80.00 redemption fee along with the regular renewal cost.
NOTE:
During the redemption phase, domains can be included in expired-domain auctions, where another party can bid on your domain name. If the domain is claimed by someone else in an auction, you will not be able to renew. If you made a payment in attempt to reclaim the domain out of redemption and were unsuccessful, you will get a refund.

@otpidusprime is correct – I checked with our registrar and hellobellygoodbyefeet.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.
Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.
I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore hellobellygoodbyefeet.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

Hey there,
The domain registry got back with us and let us know that it is passed the redemption stage. I would try now to register the domain again before someone else does. The good news is that you won’t need to pay the $80 fee if you are able to register the domain.

Ok, So I went to my dashboard and then to the store tab. However, it says I still owe the $80 fee in order to renew my domain?

Now I can’t get back to the screen that even allows me to purchase the domain. Where do I go to purchase it?

It says “Domains are not available for this site. You can only purchase domains for sites hosted on wordpress.com at this time.” Do I register the domain on hellobellygoodbyefeet.com site or the hellobellygoodbyefeet.wordpress.com site?

You are registering hellobellygoodbyefeet.com for your WordPress.com site, hellobellygoodbyefeet.wordpress.com. So you need to chose that site before selecting hellobellygoodbyefeet.com.
