  I need to renew our domain, however can not find an option to do this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Someone set up our website and has an account. Then I created an account and run our website. I don’t get any important emails saying we need to renew website, ect. How can I change the email from that one that we can no longer access to the one associated with my account?

  Hi there @christymcc,

  I don’t get any important emails saying we need to renew website, ect. How can I change the email from that one that we can no longer access to the one associated with my account?

  Do you know who does get those emails, and did they intend to make you in charge of renewals? If so, the current domain owner needs to log in and transfer ownership to you. They can use these steps:

  Also @christymcc, I just noticed the current owner didn’t register a domain through us, so transferring the upgrade to you will be a bit easier. If they need help, please ask them to log in and update us here in this thread.

  Ok, am trying to get in contact with them.

  Is there any way to renew the domain through my account? I can see that it expired 4 days ago but don’t see any option to renew it from there.

  The domain is not expired. chompbrighton.co.uk is registered with GoDaddy.com, and according to the Whois data will only expire in October 2020.

  What has expired is the domain mapping upgrade linking that domain to the WordPress.com site.

  That upgrade, along with the site itself, belongs to another account, and only that account can renew it, or otherwise give permission that it be transferred to your account, which would allow you to renew it.

  If they’re no longer involved with the site, they can also transfer ownership of the entire site to you, which would also give you control over the upgrade on the site.
