Renew Domain

  Hello, our domain did not get renewed and when doing a WHOIS search, we found it was registered one WordPress, but our domain or any purchases does not show up in our subscriptions and nothing under manage purchases. We would like to find out if http://www.kbgreens.com is able to be renewed

  That domain has reached the redemption period and it will now be more difficult and costly to recover it. Staff have been notified but as it is the weekend there may be a delay in any reply and also a delay contacting the registrar. In the meantime see: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/

  You will need to act quickly.

  Try the following:

  1. Log in as username kandbgreens.

  2. Go here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  3. Click on your domain.

  4. You should now see a screen which shows your domain, but that it’s expired. Look for the renew now button and click it to renew your domain.

  Did that work? If not, where in the process did it fail?

  @deanroyal Please confirm if things have recently changed as I don’t wish to give the wrong info to people. I understood that once the grace period had passed and redemption from the registrar was required then staff assistance was needed. The OP said that the domain no longer showed in “manage purchases” and I see:

  This depends on the domain, which of our domain partners control the registration, and whether or not the domain subscriptions have been removed from the account yet.

  Any domain showing “Automattic” as the registrar rather than Wild West, the owner should be able to redeem it themselves from Purchases without staff assistance, provided they haven’t cancelled it. But please do continue flagging these for us so that we can make sure.

  The OP is logged into the wrong account. The kandbgreens account doesn’t own any sites or upgrades on WordPress.com. To renew the domain they’ll need to log in as kbgreens21 (looks like Dean mis-pasted the username.)
