Renew domain name

  I am trying to renew my domain, but it has expired. How do I get it back? My credit card had expired and it didn’t auto renew.

  Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  Your domain is registered through GoDaddy and its WHOIS records show that it doesn’t expire till July of next year.

  I believe that you’re referring to your recently expired Domain Connection upgrade which allows you to point your domain to your WordPress.com site. Therefore, I have restored that upgrade and extended its expiration by one week. So now you can go to your Purchases page, add a new card and renew it. Here’s a direct link to your Purchases page:

  I am trying to renew my domain, with GoDaddy.

  It is in grace period.. If iI trfr here do I have to still pay for Renew
  or it will be count as free???

  The actual domain registration doesn’t reside with WordPress.com – but instead GoDaddy.

  They can be contacted here: https://uk.godaddy.com/contact-us

  Once that’s fixed up, we can assist with connecting the domain to WordPress.com.
