Ouch, that’s a hassle. Sorry to hear that you didn’t get the notifications about the upcoming expiration. You should’ve gotten several e-mails and even a message on the Dashboard of your website. I am tagging this reply so a staff member takes a look at it and helps you with the issue.
In the meantime tho, you should know that since it is in the Redemption period your domain name can still be renewed, but there is an $80.00 redemption fee required in addition to the normal renewal cost. (This is standard practice for domain registrars.) So all is not lost.
Remember to try to renew your domain before it expires in the future since it can be way more difficult to recover it. I suggest turning auto-renew on. You can learn how to do that here

You are right – the domain is indeed in redemption. However, the domain is connected to a different account than the one you are contacting us from. Can you please post in this thread from under the account that is connected to the domain? Once you do that, we can begin attempting to retrieve the domain.

I can’t log into the back office or back desk as it’s been over 2 years since I even went in it. So I cannot log in any more than I can do..and I’m not sure how else I can prove who I am.
I have another website fedupofbeingpoor under (email visible only to moderators and staff)
My original site was called piece of mind later changed to peace of mind later changed to stevenalexandersimmonds.
I had a business account which then was hosted by Wix as my web developer knew that platform better but a few months later transferred it back to WordPress due to Wix limitations
I had another account review my business which expired but I didn’t work on that but (email visible only to moderators and staff) is still live.
I also have a Google my business account ..
I have tried emailing from my personal account (email visible only to moderators and staff) and also a business account (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I have also been trying to sort this out since 10am UK. Time and 12 hours later still not resolved being sent back and forth
Currently both of my websites are being hosted on WordPress but my other is due for renewal also in June I believe.

Ah, sorry you’ve had a hard time with this. I wasn’t able to find a ticket from the correct account, but it is one of the addresses you’ve mentioned here.
I’ve just sent two invoices to that address, since there are two related domains that are expired and in redemption. If you don’t want both of them, please let us know and we’ll close out the invoice for the unwanted domain.
Once you pay the invoice for each domain that is in redemption (and if you’re only keeping one, please check and make sure you pay for the one you want), please update us here. We’ll reach out to the registrar to work on getting them back. We’ll just want to work quickly on this.

I have now paid to renew my domain…
Although I won’t be renewing my review your business I will be starting a similar venture which Im yet to title but I appreciate the work done..
Having not blogged for over 2 years I may need support jumping back into back office stuff so I can once again return to writing.
I also need to make sure that the fed up of being poor site is accessible from the same back office.

Please note that you will NOT see these upgrades if you are logged in as @stevealexandersimmonds since they were purchased under another account and not this one, as others here have mentioned. Instead you will need to log in as @stevenalexandersimmonds instead (note the spelling is a little different) to see and manage these domains.

wpcomstraging.com is the internal address of your site. To be able to use your custom domain you’ll need to purchase one of our plans as the Business plan you had expired a few months ago.
