While I await a response, some background info might be useful – I purchased finkkmarketing.com directly from WordPress, using it for a WP hosted blog initially.
I then had a self hosted website developed in 2014 and my web developer changed the nameservers to point to the new host. I renewed finkkmarketing.com domain with WP in 2015, repeat with changing nameservers. This year I had no renewal reminders at all. My website finkkmarketing.com went down on Monday.
I believe this is due to the domain falling into grace or redemption, through no known fault of my own. I also understand that public forum is the only way now of talking to WP. If there is a WP moderator out there – please help -
Hi there!
It looks like your domain name has expired quite a while ago, I’m afraid there’s little we can do to get it back.
I can see the domain status is set to pending ICANN verification, which means that you must have received an e-mail from ICANN with a verification link. This is necessary to verify your e-mail address with ICANN. I have resent this message to the e-mail address associated with your domain.
Regarding renewal reminders, we sent these automatically to your e-mail address on file. Please check your WordPress.com profile settings to make sure you have the correct e-mail address set.
Once the ICANN verification is complete, I can look further into reclaiming your domain. Please let me know when that’s done.
Thanks!
