Renew domain name which expires tomorrow

    We received a notice that our domain name expires on Aug. 15th. The cost to renew is $26, but I’m having trouble renewing it. The link in the email sends me to Manage Purchases, but the only option is to Upgrade. I want to keep the free plan and just pay for the domain name. When I click on Billing History, I can see my receipt from 2 years ago, but again no option to renew. Help! It expires tomorrow!

    Hi there,

    It appears that, while you did renew that domain in 2014, it was originally bought by, and is still owned by another username on the site, rtea26. We made a change last year that only the account that owns an upgrade can renew it, so only the rtea26 account will be able to renew the domain.

    Please log in as that username, if it’s also your account, or ask the owner of that username to log in and renew the upgrade.
