renew domain tried emailing

  My domain is in redemption and I would like to buy it back. I have emailed support 2 times with no response. Can someone tag someone so that I can get a response? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the domain, eatloveplank.com? That domain is in redemption, yes. Our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption in addition to the renewal fee. Please confirm if you agree to that fee, and I can get the process started for you.

  I’ve sent you a payment link via email. Once we receive your payment I can email our registrar to restore the domain, and from there the domain should be back online within 48 hours.

  Let me know if you don’t receive the payment link, otherwise I’ll be notified automatically when we receive your payment.

  It seems this is your lucky day – I just received a reply from our registrar, and your domain is back up and pointing to Bluehost. It does look like you’ll need to reconnect it on Bluehost’s end, as it’s only showing their landing page at the moment instead of your site. Bluehost support should be able to help you with that.

  There are a couple of options if you are switching hosting:

  1. You can keep the domain with WordPress.com and update the name servers to point to your new host:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  Or…

  2. The domain can be transferred away from WordPress.com to another registrar:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
