Renew domain WITHOUT premium upgrade

  I need some help here.

  I’m trying to renew my domain ONLY however it’s not possible due to premium upgrade was attached together and I can’t unbundle it. I just need to renew my domain

  Last year stand alone upgrades were discontinued. Now you need to select and purchase a plan.

  Expired means over, dead, done and finished. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ We focus on not allowing domains to expire so others can purchase them when they are auctioned off and that’s why we have an auto renew feature. https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew
  Assuming you are agreeable to paying the redemption fee, Staff need details to recover the domain.

  1. What is the domain URL?
  2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
  3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
  4. When was the upgrade purchased?
  5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place?

  Hi @hercalisya, you will need a plan to buy a domain now, but it doesn’t have to be Premium.

  First, choose a plan here:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Then use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains

  Also, your domain isn’t in the renewal stage at this point. It expired 6 months ago. But you can buy it new at this point. And with the plan you also get some extra features including chat-based support. I hope that helps.
