Renew Expired Domain

  Hi, it appears my domain (www.tamedcynic.org) expired and there isn’t a renew option under ‘Manage Purchases.’ How can I get it renewed it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The site you mentioned above “www.tamedcynic.org” is not registered with WordPress.com. It is registered with Wild West Domains, LLC

  However, The domain name is not expired yet.
  The expiration date is 2020-04-28

  Wordpress tells me it’s expired, and I know I registered it through WordPress.

  Your domain expired and it’s currently on hold. This means that we may still be able to recover your domain at its regular renewal price of $18 and for that, I have already emailed you a payment request. Please reply back if you have submitted the payment so that we can begin the recovery process.

  Please note that if in the meantime your domain enters into redemption, then a late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

  Hi @fromnovicetoperfection, it’s usually about a business day, but sometimes less. In fact I’m just writing back to let you know they’ve returned the domain. You can transfer to your new provider if you’d like, using these steps:

  Transfer a domain to another registrar

  Otherwise I definitely recommend enabling auto-renew here:
