Renew expired domain

    Hi,

    We missed the due date for our domain renewal. According to Whois it is still in redemption period. Is there any way we can retrieve it? 

    It’s no longer available in our WordPress account. I read on an FAQ that we could ask WordPress team for a specific link in that case. How do we get that link?

    Howdy –

    Looking at the account I can see that y’all had hoplaboum.fr mapped to your WordPress.com account with the personal hosting plan.

    The domain was not registered through WordPress.com though. In order to regain ownership of a domain from redemption you’re going to have to contact the domain registrar. Expect to pay a redemption fee as well. The domain was registered through EPAG Domainservices GmbH.

    Once you have regained ownership of the domain you can add a new hosting plan and connect the domain again. Everything is going to be just how it was left but since these upgrades have expired they need repurchased rather than renewed. Write back to me here if you need further help. I hope you can get the domain back. If not, you can always register a custom domain through that personal plan on WordPress.com.
