Renew expired domain

  Hi,

  I missed to renew my domain name which expired in July. I would like to keep that domain for the exact same blog, but I can’t renew it anymore. Please advice. Thank you!

  In case my domain is released again, can I simply go ahead and purchase it with a different registrar and use domain mapping to refer it to WordPress?

  Hi Manuel,

  Since your domain expired so long ago, it was already deleted by our domain registrar. I removed the expired domain upgrade from your account to avoid further confusion about that.

  It looks like you already registered the domain again with another registrar. In that case, you can go ahead and use it with your WordPress.com site with domain mapping. We have a guide for that here: Map an Existing Domain
