renew expired domain

My domain ps79q.org was sent to redemption due to emails going to the wrong address and the credit card used for auto renew expiring. I need to get the domain back online ASAP. Please flag this for staff assistance and have them email me the request for payment to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.

If you are logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

I’ll be happy to try and help recover this domain. First, I’ll need you to contact us from the account that originally owned the upgrade.
If you are unable to reset the password (because the email address no longer works) you’ll need to submit an Account Recovery form with the required proof of ownership in order for us to grant access to the account: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Once the form is submitted we will follow up by email.

Perfect! Thank you for posting from the other account.
Because this domain has entered in to redemption there’s an $80 fee for recovery assessed by our domain partner. I need to verify that you agree to this payment before we go forward. Please let me know.
Once I hear back I’ll send a note to our domain partner about the redemption. I should then hear back from them within 48 hours and will post an update for you.
If you agree to the payment I’ll send a secure payment link via email to the address on the correct account. If that email address needs updated you can do it at wordpress.com/me/account/
There is another option, however, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to maintain ownership of the domain. Eventually, the domain will process through redemption and become available again to the public. At that time you can register it again as new. We will not receive a notification of when this will happen, so if you’re not the first person to try and register it, you’ll loose ownership.

We are willing to pay the redemption fee and it’s not a problem. I don’t want t risk losing the domain. My boss would kill me. :-)
