renew expired domain

  Hello,
  I am trying to renew an expired domain: http://www.karinsoderholm.com

  It was originally registered through wordpress, but now the domain is no longer an option. When I search the domain in my web browser, though, it’s not a website. That makes me hopeful that it could still be available. I would hate to loose this domain.

  Can you please help me to get this back? Thank you!

  When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.

  Hi @karinrebekah, you should actually just be able to buy this domain as though it’s new since it’s completely expired now and is available again. We just require plans now.

  First, choose a plan here:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Then use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains to re-register your name.

  If that isn’t working, get in touch with us via chat at http://wordpress.com/help/contact and we’ll help you troubleshoot. (You’ll have chat access once you have the plan.)
