Renew expired domain mapping
-
The domain mapping expired, however trying to renew it was circular and impossible to do.
I’m quite positive I created the blog and the put the mapping in place with this username. I can’t find any record of using a different username.
As I can’t renew it, I thought I would completely remove it and start fresh. I’ve changed the nameservers with the domain host, but I can’t remove the DNS records in WordPress. Now the email accounts managed by Google Apps can’t receive emails.
It shouldn’t be this hard. Why isn’t the renewal process for expired mapping a simple task?
Not sure what to do next.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that upgrade.
Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.

Hmmmm… I’ve tried the other user accounts I have and none of them are linked to this blog. I’ll keep delving.

I seriously have tried every user account that I have ever created, even if it had nothing to do with this blog and none of them are connected to this blog.
Isn’t there someone in support that can help me work this out? How can I find out the second user account name? If I can do that, I can track down the login details.

In fact, I have just dug up receipt emails from wordpress.com for the last two mapping renewals that were sent to the email address for THIS account.
I just can’t work this out.

I think the easiest way to sort this out would be to switch to email.
I am sending you an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you do not receive it.
