renew expired domain. urgent

I let my domain accidentally expire. I have already posted on the forum and spent days searching for answers with no resolution and I need this resolved asap!
There seems to be no way of retrieveing my domain. Its expired but if i type it into the url bar my blog still comes up so at this time its still working. I need to renew asap!
I purchased the domain through wordpress, but it says ‘registered ‘ with wild wild west domains. But i do not have an account with wild wild west. I know this is NOT an unusual problem as I have spent the last week on wordpress forum and other help sites reading similar complaints with NO resolution.
The direction is usually to go to wordpress.com dashboard and click on settings – domains and then renew. I don’t have any of those options. Now i am 3 days expired and i am sooooooo pissed off. Especially as I feel asking on the forum is a pointless exercise since i have noticed many others asking the same question and having no response from anyone.
