Renew expired domain without upgrading?

My domain expired 3 days ago. I want to renew it, but WP always directs me to the upgradipg plans page. Isn’t it possible to renew my expired domain WITHOUT upgradipg?

All I get is just the following message:
“Looking to upgrade?
Our plans give your site the power to thrive. Find the plan that works for you.”I’ve tried cleaning my browser’s cache, but still no change.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I got your email and talked with Haris (the owner of the other account you spotted).
The thing is that I do not want to buy an upgrade. I just want to renew (my recently expired) domain mapping and I am not given that option.Cyling.org is the site of a company. Haris was the Press Officer of the company and created this site (through godaddy if I am not mistaken). Then, the company board changed and I got Haris’ position.
He transferred everything to me (so now I am the Admin of the site), but he cannot be removed from the users of our site (maybe because he was the one who created it).
I made him Admin again to be able to transfer ownership to me, but he is unable to do so, as he gets the following message:
“Sorry, you do not have enough permissions to customize this site”.Hence, he cannot do anything. On my part, I cannot make the payment, as –whatever I try– I am always directed to a page with the following message:
“Looking to upgrade?
Our plans give your site the power to thrive. Find the plan that works for you.”But I don’t want to upgrade! I just want to pay for domain mapping renewal. The thing is that I am not given that option (no “Mapping Renews” anywhere).
I hope I gave you a more accurate picture now. Can you advice me on how to make the payment?

Good news! The previous owner of the site has approved us transferring ownership of the site and the Domain Mapping service to your account.
To renew this plan, please go here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases Click on Domain Mapping and from there you can update the payment method.
