  My domain name expired in July 2015, but I would like to renew it now. How can I do that?

  it should have reverted to the wild by now – try buying it – not renewing it

  if you are lucky someone else has not grabbed the name or a squatter is holding it hostage

  I have also flagged this for staff attention – sometimes an old domain name will hang around in the system and the staff needs to clean things up once in a while

  Is this for the domain, newmethofesto.com ?

  Our records show that that domain was sold at auction by our registrar after it expired, so there is no way for us to recover it and it is also not available to register again.

  The only way to get that specific domain is to find out who owns it and ask if you can buy it from them, but if it’s merely a domain squatter as @auxclass mentioned, they’ll likely want many times what the domain is worth.

  The simpler option is to rather pick a different domain, or see if the same domain is available with a different extension.
