Renew my domain

  I need to renew my domain bought through wordpress on 8.9.2015 cheungyung.com as shown on the billing history. but there’s no link to renew on the wordpress site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @cheungyung

  It appears cheungyung.com is on redemption period. You’ll have to pay an additional redemption fee if you would like to renew the site. I’ve added modlook so that one of our staffs will be able to assist you further on recovering the domain for you.

  The redemption fee is $80 in addition to the renewal fee based on what is says here. What I meant to say is one of WordPress.com staffs (typed too fast) will comment on this thread when they’re around and will guide you what to do next.

  Hi there,

  As @edwinho89 said, your domain has expired and is currently in redemption with our registrar. They charge us a $80 fee to restore a domain once it reaches this point. Please let me know if you agree to that fee, and then I can get the process started for you.

  I’ve sent you a payment link via email. I’ll receive a notification once you make the payment, and then I can email our registrar to restore the domain.

  I’ve emailed our registrar to restore the domain. It’s a manual process to restore the domain on their end, so how long will depend on their support queues, but it’s usually within 24 hours of us sending the request. I’ll let you know as soon as I receive a reply from them.
