Renew my expired domain

  Hello,
  My mapped domain has recently expired and I only realised when my email stopped working. I am trying to renew it but all the links I click on to renew it through WordPress aren’t working. Please help!

  Hello! Did you purchase your domain through WildWestDomains/WordPressdotcom? How long ago did it expire?

  Yes, I purchased domain through WordPressdotcom

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of barehilldesign.com?

  That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

  I’ve emailed you a payment link to your hotmail address. Once we receive your payment I can email our registrar to get the domain back for you. The email should be up and running again as soon as they reactivate the domain.

  All paid. Thanks again for your help Kokkieh. My email is through Google Apps but uses the barehilldesign.com domain. Do you know if I’ll have to set that up again or will it be automatically re-established?

  Once your domain is restored I’ll make sure that all the DNS records needed for G Suite are still there, so you won’t need to set that up again. At most Google might require you to re-verify the domain, but in my experience that’s usually not necessary.

  Your domain is active and showing your site again, and the records for your email account are all still in place so your email should be working again soon as well.
