renew my wordpress.com domain

We got the robot that says wordpress.com domain expired yesterday. I am trying to renew and cannot locate the store to do so in my dashboard. I also tried to renew through upgrade and that also did not allow me. Please help need to get this rectified ASAP

by exact same user name that registered the account I am unsure what you mean. Since I have administered user name and password in admin has changed twice. If this is what I need how do I obtain if that party is no longer working for us?

Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account as the original Admin, under their associated email address. Only the blog’s owner can transfer it to you and then Staff can transfer the upgrades.
To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B the blog’s owner must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to be transferred to the other username account B.
Then the blog’s owner must add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

Hi there.
You are currently listed as an Author on the site, eastwestclassics.wordpress.com/. However, another user is listed as the owner of the site. The owner is the account that was used to register the WordPress.com site 2 years ago.
An author can write, upload photos to, edit, and publish their own posts, but only the site’s Admin can create more Administrators, invite new users, remove users, and change user roles. Nothing is off-limits for Administrators, including deleting the entire site.
If the owner no longer wants to be part of the site, he/she can turn it over to you so you can make all administrative decisions going forward. The instructions, as mentioned by timethief, can be followed here:

You are not in danger of losing that custom domain. It is your domain mapping here at WordPress.com that expired. Once that’s rectified, you’ll be up and running.
