Renew without paying 80 Euros?

  Hi! Is there a possibility to renew my domain without paying the 80 Euros? I get no information, that I have to pay so much if I want to renew it later. There never was an email about this price. I really would like to stay at wordpress because I really like your system and I will pay the price for every year for my blog. Could you maybe give me a second chance? I would be very happy because I cannot pay so much!

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry, but we wouldn’t be able to waive the redemption fee as the $80 was put on us by our registrar. If you want to risk losing your domain, you can wait out the process and hope no one purchases your domain in the meantime. Your domain will be up for auction and can be purchased by someone else. If it’s not, the domain registrar will release it in a couple months where it will go back to the original price. If you choose to do this, I highly recommend checking to see when your domain is released daily so you can purchase it immediately when it is available.
