    My renewal timed out or ran out on me december 24th of 2014 and I had just paid 99 dollars to do some upgrade or whatever thinking that it would renew my domain and I’m still getting the sad robot face. How can I get to a page where I can just renew and pay for that

    Looks like the domain is in redemption period, which means if you are lucky, you might get the domain back with a fine for late renewal. Please read up about domain expiration here.
    I have marked the thread for the staff to look into it. They will be able to help you with this.

    I just want to ask is there anything I can do in the mean time and also I paid 99 dollars for some upgrade does that count or no because if no I want to go ahead and get a refund for that right now

  • I would suggest you wait for a staff to respond to you. Once they respond, may be you can cancel the premium upgrade and use that money for the domain renewal. The domain renewal from redemption might take a while, so please be prepared to wait.

    how long is a while? and is there anyway we could expedite the process? also you forsure think that I should get the refund from the upgrade correct?

  • A while can be an hour or a few days. I am not sure exactly and it varies on a case to case basis. I am doubtful you can expedite the process with a registrar. The refund is totally upto you, if are using most of the premium features you should keep the premium upgrade and pay the late renewal fee separately. If you are not using the premium features except the domain you can just use the premium upgrade fee for the domain renewal and late fee.

    hey grace where did you respond and how do i reply. Also there was some link in my email to pay 106 dollars to renew and I just paid it off will that work and do you know when it will activate afterward? @gracejiyoung
