Renewal
-
I received an email saying I need to renew my domain before it expires. However, I am on the free plan which states in my account that it never expires. Do I have to upgrade to keep my current domain? This information is contradictory. Please help.

We need relevant details and cannot help without them.
- What is the domain URL?
- What is the underlying .wordpress.COM blog URL?
- Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.COM blog URL and purchased the upgrade for it?
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and renew the upgrade(s).

Domain registrations must be renewed yearly. arrowmontblog.com points to arrowmontblog.wordpress.com.
In addition, the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the arrowmontblog.com domain registration.
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to renew the arrowmontblog.com registration.
Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
