    Are you trying to renew your domain or plan?

    For domain renewal
    When domains are in the redemption period there are additional costs that must be paid to the registrar in order to regain access to them. You will need to agree to the charge as well as the renewal fee for WordPress.com staff to request recovery of the domain.
    Please be aware that there is no guarantee that you will be able to renew as during the redemption phase, domains can be included in expired-domain auctions, where another party can bid on your domain name.

    To avoid this situation, you can enable automatic renewal to ensure there’s no disruption in your services, loss of features, or loss of your custom domain name.

    Hi there,

    To add a new Business Plan to your site, go to My Site ->Upgrades ->Plans, and you should be able to upgrade again from there. Once you’ve added the plan, you’ll also be able to reconnect your domains.

    If you run into any trouble adding the plan back to your site, let us know and we can help you restore it manually from our end instead.

    Thanks for trying to help. However, it’s best to gather more details about what exactly someone wants to do before providing an answer. In this case the OP has never owned a domain upgrade with us, nor did they make any mention of a domain, so mentioning domain redemption is irrelevant, and even has the potential to cause unnecessary confusion.

    Had you stuck with the question you asked at the very start, and left the rest, it would overall have been a much more helpful reply. Longer isn’t always better :)

    Also, if you reply to a thread that has already been modlooked, your reply causes the thread to move back to the end of the queue, so we take longer to get to it. So if you come across a thread that had already been tagged, as was the case here, it’s best to leave it for us to handle.
