re: renewing upgrades
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, renew or cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. If you are not logged in under the correct username account clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login under the correct username account.
If you do not have the required access you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them transfer the sites to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Allowing a domain to expire
When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the redemption fee.

Yes, I would like http://www.arquilatodd.com. I did not renew in time, my bad now my website is inactive and I know the lady above gave insight but it was gibberish to me. Can you direct me step by step? 😊

Thanks for confirming. arquilatodd.com expired on 2017-07-02 which is why you are no longer able to renew it from your account. The domain is currently in the redemption period:
We can still try to recover the domain but there will be an $80 redemption fee in addition to the $18 renewal cost. If you agree, I can send you a payment request for that amount and contact our domain registrar once it has been paid.
If you don’t want to pay the fee you can wait until the domain is released, although this can take 80 days or more. There is also no guarantee you will be the first to register it again.
Please let me know which option you would prefer and we’ll go from there.
