  I put in my new credit card number, I thought it would renew automatically?

  What upgrade, on which site, are you trying to renew?

  The account you’re using to post here hasn’t owned any upgrades with us since 2016.

  To change payment details for a site hosted on WordPress.com, you need to go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases, select the specific upgrade, and update the payment method directly on that upgrade.

  A new card that’s added at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing will be available to use for new future purchases, but will not be applied to any existing purchases for auto-renewal purposes.
